The concept of Pjez Unik is quite unique for Belgium, an innovative and refreshing way to present art to the general public.
Pjez Unik consists out of two parts: an art shop on the ground floor and a gallery in the basement. The art shop offers a wide range of contemporary art from different professional national and international artists and with a variety of techniques and styles. Like the people of Pjez Unik describe it: "an eclectic harmony".

"The idea for Pjez Unik originated on vacation. In Italy and France, you find little galleries where works of art are all together and hang out. This gives a cozy atmosphere, you can hardly leave the gallery without exploring the place. This was the basis for our concept; departing from that cozy little gallery, but transformed into a slightly tighter and modern variant."

Because of the variety that Pjez Unik offers, it's always a discovery to find new things. All works are unique pieces, so if you like something nice, do not doubt, because who knows it is gone tomorrow.
There is an idea that art must be expensive, but that is not always right. Pjez Unik has artwork in different price ranges. Each month Pjez Unik will organized a new themed exhibition.

Het concept van Pjez Unik is vrij uniek voor België, een vernieuwende en verfrissende manier om kunst aan het grote publiek voor te stellen.
Pjez Unik bestaat uit twee delen: een kunstwinkel op het gelijkvloers en een galerie in het souterrain. De kunstwinkel biedt een breed gamma aan van hedendaagse kunst van verschillende professionele nationale en internationale kunstenaars en dit met een verscheidenheid van technieken en stijlen. Zoals de mensen van Pjez Unik het omschrijven: “een eclectische harmonie”.

“Het idee voor Pjez Unik is ontstaan op vakantie. In onder andere Italië en Frankrijk vind je galerijtjes waar alle kunstwerken op elkaar staan en hangen. Dit geeft zo’n gezellige sfeer weer, dat je moeilijk naar buiten kunt gaan zonder op ontdekkingstocht te gaan. Dit was de basis voor ons concept; vertrekkende van die gezellige galerijtjes, maar omgevormd naar een iets strakkere en moderne variant.”

Door de verscheidenheid die wordt aangeboden zal er dan ook regelmatig nieuwe zaken te ontdekken zijn. Alle werken zijn unieke stukken, dus wie vandaag iets leuks vindt, moet niet twijfelen, want wie weet is het morgen weg.
Men heeft soms een beeld dat kunst duur is, maar dat hoeft het absoluut niet te zijn. Pjez Unik heeft kunstwerken in verschillende prijsklassen.
In het souterrain wordt er elke maand een nieuw thema tentoonstelling georganiseerd.
